A practice of

Founded by Venus Rose, Hearth Resonance brings together an interest in the natural world, alchemical philosophy and the expressive possibilities of sound. The work takes form in SOMAURUM instruments, frequency tools and an evolving library of music and journeys.
We begin with the experience a person might enter: the quality of a room, the feel of a surface, the first sound, the quiet that follows. Technology serves that encounter.
Conceived in Western Australia, Hearth is being created for private listening spaces, established practitioners and retreats where care extends to every part of the setting.
THE MATERIAL LANGUAGE
The elemental,
made tangible.
Copper catches the light. Dark surfaces give the instrument weight and quiet. The mark carries the gesture of an element. These choices establish an atmosphere before a note is heard.
Our first-generation collection explores two ways to hold that atmosphere: ARA, a dedicated ceremonial place; and ITER, a listening ritual that travels.
